Superhero Celebrations
Directed by Puerto Rican filmmaker 脕ngel Manuel Soto, we continued to promote and celebrate our latest superhero film, "Blue Beetle," throughout Hispanic Heritage Month. While "Blue Beetle" is a superhero for all, through the talented cast led by rising star Xolo Maridue帽a, the film is a celebration of Latinidad that embraces the voice and energy of a Latino hero, authentically reflecting the cultural ethos on screen. WB Pictures partnered with AMC to launch $5 "Fan Faves" showtimes with "Blue Beetle" in more than 500 U.S. locations in the month of September to bring the film to more people in more places across the U.S. And now, you can "Blue Beetle" and watch from the comfort of your home.
We also commend and thank the 27 national Latino civil rights and advocacy groups, including icon Dolores Huerta, who came together ahead of the release of "Blue Beetle" to sign an open letter to amplify and highlight the work of Latino artists and creatives, which included endorsement and support around "Blue Beetle." Muchas gracias!
